let me just say, i cannot wipe the smile off of my face today. i had the pleasure of watching the twins clinch the 2010 division championship and it was awesome. i had a few beers and watched this team win after being behind for most of the game. . .it was amazing.
needless to say, today is good. it's a good day. i woke up late, got to work late, but, what the hell? what am i going to do about it?
i prayed out loud last night for the first time since i was about 7. i actually said "oh hey there, god". . . which i found both kind of hilarious and awkward at the very same time. in this prayer, mostly, i thanked god for the numerous blessings that have walked into my life lately, and for those that have hung around for some time.
in this quiet stage of my life. . .this stage that i am marveling at so many wonderful things that i've got, i just want to stop a minute and say thank you. and mean it. i am so blessed. i think this smile that i've got pasted on my face was really an answer to my prayers and not due to a baseball game.
